November Women’s Conference Proposal

All the Women are invited to come fasting and break their fast with us on Sunday

Purpose of the November 2025 Women's Conference:

This conference continues the process begun in November 2024 when women met to discuss and vote on the Provisional Guidelines for Women's Councils.

At that time, we agreed to use the document voluntarily for a year while seeking further understanding through discussion, experience, and prayer.

Since that vote, the Lord’s revelations and instructions have now been canonized in the April 2025 edition of the scriptures, providing an authoritative record of His words on the subject, sustained by the vote conducted at that time. With that canonization now in place and the period of voluntary use completed, this conference has been called to revisit and resolve the dispute surrounding the Provisional Guidelines and to determine together—by common consent—how women’s councils should proceed going forward.

Sunday's Conference Voting Results:

Question 1: Do you accept the instructions pertaining to women's councils found in our official scripture canon as a required guide for conducting women's councils?

Majority Vote: Yes

Totals = Yes: 68 , No: 4 , Abstain: 36 , Non-Paricipate: 16 ,

Question 2: Do you accept the Provisional Guidelines for Women's Councils document for use on a voluntary basis at this time?

Majority Vote: Abstain

Totals = Yes: 17 , No: 16 , Abstain: 75 , Non-Paricipate: 16 ,

Welcome and Introduction
Setting the tone Women are invited to share some of the positive experiences they've had in these community conversations. (Ex. Making new friends, learning about themselves, their relationships, etc.)
Prayer in repentance Women are welcome to offer their own broken heart and contrite spirit using "I" statements. This is not an opportunity to point out what other people have done wrong. It is only to confess what she, herself feels remorse for, how she, herself feels she has offended God.
Spokeswomen on the Provisional Document An opportunity for any woman to share her closing thoughts before the vote. This is not a debate. Statements need to simply explain one's reasons for leaning one way or another regarding the vote. These statements need to be shared in under 2 minutes and submitted beforehand.
